Blue Lightning
The Flophouse String Band
Has been together since 2006, when four friends who have played together for almost 8 years, decided to form the group and begin performing. The members all met at the Augusta Heritage Center in Elkins, West Virginia. The group consists of Becky Kelly, of Starkville MS, on Appalachian Dulcimer; her husband, Wayne Kelly, on Guitar and Mandolin; Susan Donohue, of Easton, PA, on the fiddle; and Bill Fahy, of Rome, NY, on Mandolin and Guitar. The group performs a variety of upbeat traditional music in Old Time, Cajun, Celtic, and Blues styles.
Off the Wall
Larry Fox and Charlie Ingersoll
Have been pleasing local audiences for more than thirty years. Fox handles the lead vocals and guitar, while Ingersoll adds the tenor harmony vocal and plays dobro. Their self-titled debut CD was nominated for a SAMMY Award when it was released in 2005. Blending folk, bluegrass and traditional country with a clean, no frills approach. Featuring strong vocals, tight harmonies and solid instrumental work, their performances run the gamut from tender ballads to driving bluegrass tunes.
Cincinnati Creek
Hails from the Adirondack foothills. Their music reflects a mix of bluegrass, original compositions, and gospel. Lori Thompson plays mandolin, guitar and sings both lead and harmony vocals. Chris Pepe plays the banjo. His fancy picking and good humor are a great addition to the band. Gary Dygert plays the guitar and dobro. He also sings lead and harmony vocals. Cathy Martin rounds out the band, playing the upright bass and singing harmony.
The Ingersoll Brothers
Born and raised in the Central New York area, The Ingersoll Brothers combine duet harmony, bluegrass drive, and other various forms of new acoustic music.  Drawing from influences such as The Louvin Brothers, Bill and Charlie Monroe, and Jim & Jesse, the Ingersoll Brothers focus on tight, two-part harmonies and intricate instrumentation. Inheriting the gift of music from their grandfather, Charlie Ingersoll, Jeff (guitar) and Aaron (mandolin) have played in various CNY groups including The Ingersoll Family Band and the New North Country Troubadours. Now, playing primarily in the Buffalo/Niagara regions, the Ingersoll Brothers breathe new life into traditional brother duet style singing while still creating their own unique sound.
